Teen Confirmation

ENROLLMENT FOR OUR 2024-2025 TEEN CONFIRMATION CLASSES IS OPEN AND WILL CLOSE AUGUST 22, 2024. 
Class Fee is $185 (includes retreat)

Your family must be registered in our parish BEFORE you enroll your child(ren) in Teen Confirmation.  If your family is not registered,
 please REGISTER HERE

IMPORTANT:  Per Diocesan Regulations, Teen Confirmation Preparation is a 2-year program, and all students (public school, private school, and homeschool) must attend in-person classes.  

Confirmation Year 1 (age 14 to 15 1/2) - Important pre-requisite is FULL knowledge of 1st Communion Prayers (e.g., Our Father, Hail Mary).
Confirmation Year 2 

PARENT ORIENTATION MEETING:
Tuesday, Sept. 10, 2024 - 6:00 pm in the parish hall.
NOTE:  NO walk-ins will be admitted.  Your child(ren) MUST be enrolled for you to attend the orientation.  

Year 1 and Year 2 Confirmation classes will be offered 
IN PERSON on Tuesday nights from 6:00 – 7:30 p.m. 
beginning September 17, 2024.

NOTE THE FOLLOWING IMPORTANT DATES:
 April 29 and May 6 – Teen Confirmation exams for all classes
May 13, 2025 - Mandatory Teen Confirmation Dress Rehearsal in church for yr. 2 students and sponsors at 6:30pm.  
Students must come dressed as for the Mass with the Bishop. Sponsors may come dressed in normal attire appropriate for church.

Retreat Confirmation 1 – Saturday, Nov 2, 2024 - Sacred Heart Retreat Center, Santa Ana, CA
Retreat Confirmation 2 – Saturday, Mar 15, 2025 - St. Michael's Abbey, Silverado, CA
TBD - Teen Confirmation Mass at 5 pm in the church.

ENROLLMENT BEGINS JULY 8, 2024 AND WILL END WHEN FULL CLASSROOM CAPACITY IS REACHED.
