YOUTH GROUP - Did you know that having faith and being Holy is not just for old people? Many of the biblical figures highlighted throughout scripture were in fact teenagers or young adults. Which is why ministry to our young people is so very important! St John the Baptist parish is looking to improve and grow middle school and high school youth programs: like our weekly Youth Group on Fridays. YOUNG ADULT MINISTRY - Keeping your faith alive in college and beyond is a challenge BUT not impossible! It is easier than most people think and yet “difficult” in every sense of the word. Which is why St John the Baptist will be starting up a brand new young adult ministry for those who are 18 years of age or older, recently graduated from High School, attending college, and/or just starting their career. Opportunities for community and accountability through your parish community as a young adult are crucial to maintaining our faith. FAMILY MINISTRY - We know ministry within the family can be difficult. Especially when you feel like you are doing it alone. We are called to support one another within the parish community for the growth and well-being of our children. Parents should not have to feel alone when trying to raise their children to be Catholic. Which is why St John the Baptist Catholic Church aims to provide regular communal gatherings and events for families of every demographic.
